The sun, The source of all life on earth bombards the Earth every day with deadly radiation that if not for the Ozone layer and the natural magnet field that both surround the Earth we would go the way of the dinosaurs. For tanning, we are mostly concerned with Ultraviolet radiation that comes in three types UVA, UVB, and UVC.
